Lama Yeshe Rinpoche

Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche is Chairman of Rokpa Trust, Abbot of Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery and Director of the internationally acclaimed Holy Island Project. He is Meditation Master to thousands of students from around the world.
As Chairman of Rokpa Trust, Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche has responsibility for Kagyu Samye Ling, The Holy Island Project and Kagyu Samye Dzong Centres worldwide. He is also involved in the Trust's charitable projects both at home and overseas. His energy and inspiration fuel the Trust’s far-reaching activities, which benefit so many people in so many ways.
Gelong Thubten

Gelong Thubten is a Buddhist monk, meditation teacher and author from the UK. Gelong is a title meaning ‘senior monk’. Thubten was educated at Oxford University and then became an actor, in London and New York. At the age of 21, tremendous amounts of stress led him to join a monastery. He was ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist monk in 1993 at Kagyu Samye Ling Tibetan Buddhist Monastery. He trained there under some of the world's most accomplished teachers of meditation, and has spent six years in intensive meditation retreats, the longest of which was 4 years.
Thubten specialises in teaching mindfulness meditation internationally, in businesses, hospitals, schools, universities, prisons and addiction counselling centres. He also gives keynote speeches at major events around the world. He has been teaching for over 20 years and is a world pioneer in the mindfulness movement, as he was teaching in these sectors many years before it became popular.
Anthony Harris
Mindfulness Meditation Teacher & Trustee Director
Anthony has been a practitioner of meditation and mindfulness for over 30 years. He is a qualified psychotherapist and mindfulness instructor who is also a popular teacher of meditation. Anthony is responsible for running meditation classes and workshops at the centre. In addition, he is responsible for interviewing new therapists as well as chairing the therapists’ committee at the Mindfulness and Well-Being Centre. Anthony was a Founder Member of Samye Foundation Wales and has been a Trustee and Director since its inception in 2006.
Ann Davies
Trustee director
Ann is our financial director and has been part of Samye Foundation Wales since its inception in 2006.
Her professional background is in accountancy and is also a qualified reflexologist.
Ioan Evans
Trustee director
Ioan graduated from Aberystwyth University with a Computer Science degree (BSc) and in 2004 he founded a Business Solutions company. The focus of the company is involved in delivering solutions for businesses by giving business consultancy that helps people focus on what they aspire to achieve then placing software solutions in place to enable the business to implement their strategy.
MINU MANDORA
Trustee director
Minu has been part of Samye Foundation Wales since 2006. She has been involved in supporting the work and has received many teachings over the years.
Her professional background is within the NHS and had worked for them for many years. She is also a qualified Hatha Yoga and Qi Gong teacher.
Rashpal Singh
Trustee director
Chair/Fellow of The Institute of Welfare (Acc) MBACP, Mem ACW Reg UKRCP, MBABCP, MCCYP, MFHCP.
Rashpal is a qualified and an accredited Psychotherapist/Counsellor. He has practised in the welfare, counselling, occupational health and employee assistance field for the past 25 years. He has successfully set up his own practice where he continues to deliver counselling, coaching, training, information, advice and guidance services, where a person in any walk of life can get confidential support.
Rashpal specialises in stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and includes relationship counselling, work-related stress to domestic/physical or psychological abuse. His current client list includes GPs, consultants, psychiatrists, counsellors, psychologists and employees, managers and directors of businesses. Rashpal works integratively, short-term solution focussed to cognitive behavioural focussed with systemic interventions.

Company Secretary for Samye Foundation Wales
I have been Company Secretary since the formation of Samye Foundation Wales in 2006.
I work as a Centre Manager & CEO for Samye Foundation Wales and deliver mindfulness and compassion courses to individuals, as well as across the private, public and voluntary sectors. I have worked over the years in banking, administration and training.
I love organic gardening and making environments inside and outside look beautiful. I also study Tibetan Buddhism and love to meditate.
