Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function to as near normal as possible when someone is affected by injury, illness or by developmental or other disability. It is a healthcare profession, with a science foundation, that covers a broad and varied range of work which involves working with people to promote their own health and well being.

At the moment the centre offers musculoskeletal physiotherapy treating conditions such as soft tissues injuries, arthritis, spinal pain, whiplash, tendonopathy (eg tennis elbow) amongst many others. Physiotherapists use a number of different techniques including manipulation and mobilisation, soft tissue release and exercise programmes. Reassurance and education about a problem also gives people the confidence to get back to normal activities quickly.
